Glenna brings with her an educational background grounded by almost 2 decades of hands-on fashion retail experience from buying to store launches, visual merchandising and events. Starting on the sales floor at Holt Renfrew in 2000, she soon transitioned  to manage all Womenswear Displays, Windows, and Decor.  The first major media event ever held by Holt Renfrew during Toronto Film Festival, saw her to the role of Event Coordinator, leading the visual display team through the planning and execution of all event related displays, organizing private shopping nights, and overall budgetary management.

At Holts she also completed her college internship as assistant to the fashion director, Barbara Atkin. In collaboration with the director she created trend guides for the buyers to take with them to market. These guides were comprised of trend forecasting notes, and fashion storyboards that would create a thematic feel throughout the stores.

Focusing on the buying side, from 2004-2010 Glenna continued to gain hands-on experience working with companies such as Winners, and Joe Fresh.  But that did not prevent her from nurturing her ongoing passion for styling.  As a freelance stylist she co-ordinated photoshoots for celebrities such as Tatiana Maslany, Sarah Gadon, Mother Mother, and Hozier and magazines such as FQ, Flare, LAB and YYZ, as well as runway shows for Canadian Fashion designers during Fashion Week.

From 2010 to 2015, she co-founded RAC Boutique. A creative forum offering cutting edge fashion and lifestyle items located in the heart of Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. Curating a roster of international, emerging and undiscovered designers, this endeavour brought together unique women's ready-to-wear and accessories, creating an unparalleled shopping experience.

Bringing Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) to Toronto, was another milestone.  As an organizer of the FNO committee she lead the planning  of the first official Fashion's Night Out event in September 2012. This global initiative, sponsored by Vogue and the CFDA, brings retailers from around the world to a one-day shopping event hosted by eighteen countries (with some 4,500 “Fashion Nights” held in the United States alone), featuring special limited-edition products, with celebrity appearances and unforgettable performances.

Glenna also co-found and organized multi-days shopping opportunities through “The Bazaar”, a huge pop-up supporting 20+ independent retailers, giving them an opportunity to network and mobilize under one roof to stimulate business. The event has been held twice in Toronto, being attended by thousands, and receiving support from numerous sponsors outside the fashion world.

In 2015 she was brought on to curate, implement and launch a unique retail experience for Medulla & Co's two Toronto locations on Queen West and Yorkville.
